The "double reduction" policy is to ease the burdens of excessive homework and off-campus tutoring for students undergoing compulsory education.Although it has a significant impact on easing students' academic burden,whether it affects students' academic performance has become a wide concern in society and for parents.To investigate whether and how the "double reduction" policy affect students' academic performance,Tukey's multiple comparison test was conducted on the final exam scores of 30 primary schools in Zixing City,Hunan Province from the first semester of 2021 to the first semester of 2022.The research results indicate that the "double reduction" policy has a significant negative impact on the academic performance of the fourth-grade students and a significant positive impact of the fifth-grade students;the impact on the subsidiary courses is significantly higher than that of main courses;and the impact on the academic performance of sixth-grade students is significantly lower than that of other grades.Therefore,under the background of the "double reduction" policy,we should strengthen the guidance of memory related subjects for the fourth-grade students,pay attention to the balance of class hours between different subjects,and give particular emphasis on the stress reduction and burden reduction of the sixth-grade students.

Academic culture is deeply rooted in discipline governance,the two having value integration with each other.Based on the triple attributes of material,rule and value of academic culture,discipline governance is closely related to academic culture,that is,knowledge is the intermediary between material culture and academic individual,and the collective stipulation of rules forms the academic group,and the value meaning of culture constructs the ideal of discipline governance.However,in the current discipline governance,there are still some representations of academic culture failure,such as the utilitarian orientation with the supremacy of material culture,the prescriptive orientation with the supremacy of collective culture,and the idealization orientation with the supremacy of value culture.On the premise of clarifying the common meaning of academic culture and following the inherent law of academic culture,discipline governance needs to respect the material and cultural basis,improve the scientific and pluralistic discipline governance system,balance the conflict of collective culture,establish a discipline governance model of organizational coordination,and reshape the ideal of value culture,so as to build an open and inclusive discipline innovation ecology and then realize the modern development of discipline governance.

Life education for college students is a lasting topic of the times,and it is an important part of mental health education in colleges and universities.From the analysis of perspective of responsibility ethics,the problems in college students' life education in the new era are mainly reflected in the lack of responsibility thinking of educational subjects,the lack of coordination of multiple responsibility subjects,the weak awareness of individual responsibility ethics,and the poor operation system of responsibility ethics and so on.At present,to strengthen the construction of responsibility ethics of college students' life education,we should fully follow the operational logic of life education,which takes cognitive understanding as the premise,internalization of identity as the core,and externalization of practice as the end-result.

It is the basic principle for Chinese universities to achieve goodgovernance to better transform institutional advantages into governance efficiency.The effectiveness of university governance is greatly reduced by the crisis of the legitimacy of system design,the path dependence of system development and the action dilemma caused by the imbalance of structure and function of system practice.In order to restore the university governance ecology and improve the governance efficiency,we should return to the academic organization attribute of the university through the precise orientation of the role of the interest subject and the scientific reconstruction of the cognitive schema.We should practice the historical logic,rational logic and rule of law logic of institutional change by establishing and perfecting an institutional system that conforms to laws and regulations and embodies its own characteristics."Coercive" and "induced" institutional changes should be integrated through top-level design and benefit incentives.

Group educational assistance under the background of East-West cooperation means that the eastern region of counterpart cooperation selects teaching and training guidance teams according to the educational assistance needs ofthe underdeveloped counties,and implements management input,demonstration guidance and training guidance for an underdeveloped county or a weak school,carrying out the mode of "rebuildable" and "implantable" assistance.This mode abandons the traditional single way of assistance,and realizes the mode shift from singleness to cooperation in assistance concept,from monism to whole staff in assistance subject,from education to management in assistance content,from single intelligence to both intelligence and determination in assistance goal,and from external assistance to internal strengthening in assistance result.It also constructs the operation logic of Chinese educational assistance from four aspects:"good organizations plus good Party members","good mechanism plus good teams","good teachers plus good students" and "good resources plus good platforms".With the further development of the cooperation between the East and the West,in order to promote educational governance and realize the modernization of the educational governance system,we should optimize the existing support mode from the aspects of assistance team,object,cycle and effect on the one hand;on the other hand,we should stand at a higher level and pay attention to the cooperative governance of group educational support between the East and the West.

This paper sums up the theory and origin of holistic education from a cross-cultural perspective addressed by scholars from around the globe,and generalizes the spirituality,theoretical basis and concept of holistic education.The aim of holistic education is to cultivate talents in an all-round way.Holistic education is a shared educational philosophy upheld by researchers both in China and in the west.The philosophical thoughts of holistic education emphasize the integral development of individuals.The famous linguist and educator,Li Xiaoju,integrates humanism and oriental philosophical wisdom in practice.She interprets holistic education from cross-cultural perspective,and puts it into effect from three aspects:dialectical philosophy of education,well-round students,and holistic language education.A wide range of educational philosophical orientation proposed by Li Xiaoju enrich the theory of holistic education and boost the development of language teaching.It has been a pioneering and successful exploration in the history of education in the history of the language education in China.

Speeding up the establishment of a world-level discipline evaluation system with Chinese characteristics is an important booster to improve the discipline construction and the quality of personnel training in our country.At a time when the fifth round of discipline evaluation is about to begin,discipline evaluation should give more prominence to its diagnostic function,break through the triple constraints of single evaluation criteria,emphasis on academic orientation and aggravating Matthew effect,and lead the development of characteristic disciplines in colleges and universities,especially local colleges and universities.The quantitative,behaviorist and administrative tendency of discipline evaluation in the construction of teaching staff should be changed so that it could guide the discipline evaluation in the new era to better serve the construction of teaching staff in colleges and universities.We should seek the integration of the tool value of discipline evaluation and the rational value,take care of the subject needs of disciplines at different stages of development,and build a harmonious and symbiotic discipline evaluation ecosystem.We should focus on the fundamental task of educating people through morality,and highlight the mission and responsibility of undergraduate education in discipline evaluation in the new era.With more fine classification,democratic participation,scientific value judgment,and reasonable evaluation criteria in discipline evaluation,we should give full play to the guidance to the discipline development of colleges and universities,especially colleges and universities in the western regions.

Punishments and insult exist in education field,the former being necessary and the latter unacceptable.The differences between punishment and insult lie in that,in terms of purpose,the former is to prevent improper behaviors from happening again;in terms of property of value,the former is “significant pain” instead of “useful pain”;in terms of implementation process,the former is a rational process whose content and way are lawful,showing respect and care;and in terms of mechanism,the former is a due procedure and is institutionalized.

Internationalization is a general feature of higher education.Higher education in US is originated from Europe,and its international localization is characterized by a long-term conversion process of import and export,government domination,high level of commercialization,and internationalization of teachers,English being the main means of international localization and US higher institutionscontrolling the upstream of knowledge-based capital.We can elicit the following inspirations from the experiences in US that we should strengthen the strategy of international localization of higher education,differentiate education for international students,teach in foreign languages,increase the proportion of high-level international faculty,and enhance competitiveness of international students while they seek jobs domestically.

Group sandplay therapy is a psychological therapy in which the group members make the sandplay work thus promote the integration of themselves and psychological growth. Group sandplay therapy significantly improves the level of self consistency and congruence for the low-level individual. Individuals apply in the real enviroment the new adjustment mechanism for self-devlopment in help of growping dynamic from group relation. It could be considered during the developing of college psychologial education that combing the group sandplay therapy with individual counselling to improve the mental health.

Chinese college students prefer to use the words and expressions whose meaning is more broad and inappropriate to English writing instead of those complex and specific ones so as to ensure less error rate in their English writing.The “avoidance phenomenon” in college English writing is due to the cross-cultural factors and culture default of college students themselves,which have greatly impacted the English writing quality and the rise of the level of college students’ English writing.Understanding this,it is important to analyze“avoidance phenomenon” and its origin,focus on improvement of college students’ cross-cultural thinking ability,fully implement the “dichotomy teaching system”,and form the “six steps” of autonomous classroom learning mode,so as to eliminate the “avoidance phenomenon” in college English writing.

Research ̄oriented colleges undertake the responsibility of cultivating high ̄level and innovative talents for the society.Thus,textbooks should keep pace with the construction of subjects and meet the need of educating people with ability.Currently,there are some problems in the construction of textbooks in research ̄oriented colleges,which include inadequate attention from the school leaders,author’s lack of interests,scarcity of textbooks in agreement with research ̄oriented teaching,etc.Accordingly,research ̄oriented colleges should give full play to the pull of famous teachers,integrate the construction of textbooks into “985” project and construct textbooks with international standard,according to the national key subjects’ requirements.

In order to find out the actual outcomes of distance education personnel training mode and its training quality,we conducted a tracking survey of its graduates with three questionnaires,namely teaching satisfaction,employer’s evaluation and academic achievement assessment.The questionnaires include three-layer items and each item explains the questionnaires with different probability,and the items play different roles in the questionnaires,so the weight of each item to the questionnaire shall be determined.The AHP has been employed to calculate the weight of each item,which will avoid the subjectivity,variation and one-sidedness of experts.
