A flourishing culture underpins a thriving nation,and a robust culture fortifies the national spirit.The essence of building China into a country with a strong socialist culture lies in enhancing national cultural soft power and spiritual independence,wherein constructing a self-reliant knowledge system serves as a vital force for cultural development and social progress.Independence and self-reliance constitute the core element of this endeavor.Its fundamental aim is to break free from external dependency and establish China's discursive leadership.This necessitates that the construction of a self-reliant knowledge system adhere to independence and self-reliance—maintaining spiritual autonomy,grounding practice firmly in the Chinese context,dialectically synthesizing theoretical critique and construction,and achieving comprehensive integration within the system—thereby genuinely establishing a knowledge system possessing Chinese characteristics,style,and ethos.Scientific rigor and systematicity form the basic principle.The key task is to elevate fragmented knowledge into an organic whole to foster the dynamic growth of the knowledge system.This requires upholding scientific integrity and a systematic approach,achieving their organic unity to construct a knowledge system that is both explanatory and adaptive.A practice-oriented stance acts as the key safeguard.Its value lies in anchoring knowledge in reality and directing it to serve the people.It demands that the self-reliant knowledge system be rooted in China's practices in the new era,identifying and cultivating wellsprings of knowledge growth and innovation,thus elevating Chinese practice into Chinese theory.Together,these three dimensions—the core element,basic principles,and key safeguard—constitute the complete logical framework for constructing a self-reliant knowledge system.They consolidate the spiritual foundation for building a strong socialist culture and powerfully propel China's transition from a "major cultural country" to a "culturally strong nation".

The genre-based narration of Chinese online literature has emerged under the highly market-driven logic of digital platforms.Although literary categorization has historical roots in traditional Chinese literary theory,contemporary platforms institutionalize it through genre-specific columns,content tagging,and ranking mechanisms,thereby reinforcing distinct narrative patterns within defined genres.The proliferation and refinement of these genres are direct outcomes of market-validated platform categorization.Online literary creation is by nature an ongoing,open-ended process,continuously co-shaped by platform algorithms and reader feedback,which further entrenches genre conventions.However,the prolonged stability of these conventions has led to aesthetic fatigue,prompting a self-initiated narrative shift in works originally oriented toward delivering "shuanggan" (爽感,a reader-centric sense of pleasurable excitement).Through adaptive strategies—including the recalibration of "shuang points" (爽点,gratification triggers) and the functional evolution of the "golden finger" (jīnshǒuzhǐ,金手指,a narrative device granting protagonists extraordinary advantages)—genre-based narration has transcended established templates,fostering innovation under the logic of shuanggan.As the online literature industry matures,the widespread cross-media adaptation of works and IPs has incentivized narrative forms that actively accommodate transmedia production requirements.Driven by diverse formats such as television dramas,online games,and script-based immersive experiences,genre writing increasingly prioritizes script-friendly adaptation,systemic coherence,and visual adaptability.This transformation not only reshapes the content and form of online literature but also deepens its embeddedness as a cultural commodity within industrial chains,marking an evolutionary shift from platform-driven genre formation to industry-coordinated narrative production.

The philosopher is by no means idle;philosophical contemplation and writing constitute a profound form of action.In seeking and defending truth,philosophers render essential service to the ethical sustenance of the community.The notion of "non-action" (wu-wei) signifies not passivity but the proper fulfillment of one's role—when each performs their duty,harmony prevails in the world.Socrates' abstention from direct political engagement may appear as withdrawal,yet it was neither self-serving nor mere personal cultivation;rather,it embodied a selfless commitment to the city-state's moral fabric.This paradox epitomizes the fundamental tension between philosophy and politics:philosophy cannot directly serve the city's immediate interests,and the political life,grounded in the mean,resists philosophy's radical demands.Nevertheless,the philosopher cannot disengage from the city.How philosophy may support the polis—and how the polis ought to receive philosophy—requires exceptional political wisdom.Human existence is inherently ek-static,an outward projection beyond the self;thus,the philosopher's self-actualization must be rooted in worldly engagement.Contemplation itself is a supreme deed,whose significance lies in legislating for human life—the highest expression of "action through non-action." By distancing himself from mundane affairs,the philosopher better serves the city,establishing teachings grounded in the fundamental Way,elevating the soul's quality,and orienting human conduct.The philosopher links the heavenly Way above,embodies the kingly Way at the center,and nurtures human order below.At least in the domain of education—the foremost concern of classical political philosophy—the philosopher bears the weighty responsibility of shaping and preserving society.Hence,compared with direct political participation,genuine philosophy possesses a distinct dignity and represents a higher form of life.

Algorithms,characterized by digital reductionism and result-oriented technicality,have converged with the utilitarian imperative of "maximizing utility" under the impetus of capital logic,forging an algorithmic "iron cage" rooted in technological utilitarianism.This synergy inherently intensifies three ethical paradoxes in practice,thereby subverting the core value commitments of technological utilitarianism itself.First,while purporting to liberate humanity from tedious labor,it corrosively alienates human values,human life,and human rationality.Second,while seeking to eliminate uncertainties inherent in human moral deliberation through ostensibly reliable processes,it concurrently erodes the very locus of moral accountability.Third,in employing disciplinary power to ostensibly elevate collective welfare,it instead perpetuates structural social injustice.These paradoxes not only expose the internal tensions within the ethical framework of technological utilitarianism but also highlight the fundamental contradiction between its utility-first principle and the comprehensive development of human beings.Given the pervasive application and profound influence of algorithmic technology in contemporary society,it is imperative to fundamentally scrutinize and reconstruct its underlying ethical logic.Only by supplementing the technological-utilitarian stance with pluralistic ethical principles can the algorithmic iron cage be truly dismantled.
