When studying the problem of how to recognize socialism,people pay little attention to the methodology of recognition,which is,in fact,also very important for us to understand socialism.This paper probes into three methodologies of socialist recognition.recognition by experience,recognition by dogmatic rationalism,and recognition guided by practice. Of the three methodologies shaped under different historical periods of socialist construction,only the last can be regarded as a scientific one.

The theory of knowledge is a long tradition in the history of philosophy,and the reflections on knowledge mainly come form within the pure reason.This article tries to build up a reflection pattern on the practical reason of knowledge,i.e. the tradition of knowledge ethics.After a simple examination on the relationship between knowledge and value,this article gives some reflections on several historical knowledge ethics traditions that have prominent time characteristics:“knowledge is supreme goodness",“knowledge is forbidden fruit",“knowledge is strength",and “knowledge is capital." finally,the article suggests that the purpose of knowledge ethics should be a way of thinking on the practical reason of knowledge and a new tradition of the theory of knowledge.

Unselfishness and altruism is the highest and ocassional principle of being good,which should only (and can only) guide the ocassional behavior of any individual.Its signigficance is manifested in the individuals'displaying altuistic and self-sacrificing spirit when personal benefit is at conflict with that of society or other fellow beings. To benefit oneself and others at once is the fundamental and perpetual principle of being good,which should and can guide the perpetual conducts of individuals. Its significcance is manifested in the individuals' displaying self-benefiting and altruistic spirit when personal benefit is in conformity with that of society or other fellow beings.To merely benefit oneself is the lowest and ocassional principle of being good, which should only and can only, guide the ocassional behavior of the individuals.Its significanec is manifested in the individuals' displaying mere self-benefiting and non-self-harming spirit when personal benefit is not at direct conflict with that of society or other fellow beings.

Since the emergence of M&A activities in 1980's, only a few enterprises of our Country have succeeded while most of those which expand irrelevantly have failed. Therefore, these enterprises need shrinking their operations and  come back to their core line of business. The state-owned enterprises in some industries may have either low asset-efficiency or insignificant economic scale. So it's quite necessary for our country's enterprises to conecntrate their capital-operations.

YANG Zeng-Xian. Query the Validity of the Theory of “National Spirit Mythology"——Comment Concurrently on Liu He's Distortion of Lu Xun's Image[J]. Journal of Jishou University（Social Sciences）, 2002, 23(1): 59-66.

It is not without reason when Feng Jicai criticised Lu Xun in 2000.Feng's Criticism of Lu Xun originated from Liu He's theory of national spirit mythology.Liu he held that Lu Xun's national spitrit theory was influenced by the American missionary Ming Enpu's theory of colonialist hegemomy.Consequently,Liu totally negated the existence of the Chinese people's deep-rooted bad habits.This paper gives a systematic repudiation to Liu He's post modern approaches and post colonial views,positively expounds on the historical rationality of Ming Enpu's writings,and reaffirms the validity of Lu Xun's criticism upon the deep-rooted bad habits of the chinese people.

Symbolism,based on the irrationalism,tries to achieve harmony of the materiality and human soul through coherence of the visible material world.Symbolists made efforts to pursue a beautiful and harmonious world as home of human soul by using symbol,hint,association,or by describing the nature of matter,or by isostructuring myth,nature and human society and spirit.However,symbolists failed eventually to achieve the identity between the spiritual world and the material world.

This article discusses the subject consicousness and the folk consciousness embodied in the works of different literary schools in and after the period of “seeking for root",analyses the errors of different creative tendencies in the treatment of the positions and relationships of folk consciousness and subject consciousness,with the conclusion that subject consciousness is above folk consciousness in the sense of cultural consiousness.

Logically speaking, the subject of crime in criminal law should be in consistency with the subject of crime in criminal procedure.However,in reality,the two are often inconsistent,i.e. the suject of crime in criminal law is not the subject in criminal procedure,or vice versa.This article examines the inconsistency of the subject of crime mainly from three aspects:stipulation of the code of criminal procedure,the operation law of criminal procedure,and the practice of criminal justice.

The signatures of  “The International Convention of Economic, Social and Cultural Rights” and “The International Convention of Civil and Political Rights" mean the approval of our government to the human rights clauses. Between the two conventions and our human rights prescribed by the constitution, there are both uniformity and differences.A comparison of the similarities and differences show that standardizing the current system of our living constitution is of decisive and fundamental significance of the perfection to the safeguard system of our human rights.

Working diligently for over a century in the field of Jiaguwen (cinscriptions on bones or tortoise shells) and Jinwen (inscription on ancient bronze objects) study are mainly historians and linguists.This dialogue,based on historical anthropology,discusses the study of Jiaguwen and Jinwen with a view to clearing up the research object,method and value of historical anthropology,trying to open up a new way to the interpretation of Jiaguwen and Jinwen with the participation of researchers of different subjects,so as to dig up the maximum social and cultural connotation of jiaguwen and Jinwen,enrich the research method of anthropology,perfect the theoretical structure of anthropology,and promote the connection of our traditional linguistics with modern linguistics.

The death rate of village women caused by suicide in our country is much higher than the average.This tragedy was caused by many factors.To avoid it,efforts should be made in such aspects as the development of education, the attention of social community, the protection of their rights, medical insurance, etc. Moreover, the  self-adjustment of individual and good family environment are also very important.

Based on an investigation of the present situation of the industrialization of yangtao in Xiangxi,its base construction status quo,and its initial eco
mdmic benefit,this article points out that the industrialization of yangtao in Xiangxi,with its considerable competitive power,has a big market and a promising development prospect,and that its negative factor lies in its poor ability for storage.In the light of the above mentioned advantages and disadvantage,the article puts forth some tactics for its production adujustment,its quality improvement and its market building.
