Abstract: The theory of knowledge is a long tradition in the history of philosophy,and the reflections on knowledge mainly come form within the pure reason.This article tries to build up a reflection pattern on the practical reason of knowledge,i.e. the tradition of knowledge ethics.After a simple examination on the relationship between knowledge and value,this article gives some reflections on several historical knowledge ethics traditions that have prominent time characteristics:“knowledge is supreme goodness",“knowledge is forbidden fruit",“knowledge is strength",and “knowledge is capital." finally,the article suggests that the purpose of knowledge ethics should be a way of thinking on the practical reason of knowledge and a new tradition of the theory of knowledge.
