Abstract: When studying the problem of how to recognize socialism,people pay little attention to the methodology of recognition,which is,in fact,also very important for us to understand socialism.This paper probes into three methodologies of socialist recognition.recognition by experience,recognition by dogmatic rationalism,and recognition guided by practice. Of the three methodologies shaped under different historical periods of socialist construction,only the last can be regarded as a scientific one.
