Can Digitization of Tax Collection and Administration Improve Enterprise Risk-taking?—A  Quasi-natural Experiment  Based  on "Golden Tax Phase III" WANG Jianxin, CHAO Kangjian, WAN Shouqiong Journal of Jishou University(Social Sciences Edition)    2024, 45 (1): 93-104.   DOI: 10.13438/j.cnki.jdxb.2024.01.009 Abstract （286）      PDF（pc） （838KB）（362）       Knowledge map    Save Based on the quasi-natural experiment of"Golden Tax Phase III" project,this paper studies the effect and mechanism of the digitalization of tax collection and administration on the level of enterprise risk-taking.The results show that the digitalization of tax collection and administration significantly improves the level of risk-taking by alleviating the short-sighted tendency of administration and improving the information quality of enterprises.Further analysis shows that the effect on corporate risk-taking is more significant in private enterprises,small-scale enterprises,and enterprises with lower audit quality and less attention from analysts.Government departments should continue to promote the construction of tax information,and further improve the data integration ability of big data tax collection and administration,while enterprises should improve internal and external governance mechanisms in order to give full play to the accurate governance effect of the digitalization of tax collection and administration. From Technology Addiction to Platform Isolation:the Formation of Loneliness among Young People in the Digital Age LIU Yufan Journal of Jishou University(Social Sciences Edition)    2024, 45 (5): 110-121.   DOI: 10.13438/j.cnki.jdxb.2024.05.012 Abstract （291）      PDF（pc） （1066KB）（349）       Knowledge map    Save At a time when social transformation and individualization are accelerating,loneliness among young people has become a group social phenomenon.From technology addiction to platform isolation,the formation of loneliness among young people is closely related to the use of social media.From an individual level,young people are happy to gain emotional comfort from online relationships,and with the company of daily technology,they eliminate the sequential perception of time.Subjects separated by technology shuttle between virtual and reality,creating situational technological addiction;from an environmental perspective,the digital platform constructed by algorithms alienates the form of communication in real society.The practical significance in the virtual space is hidden by the platform,and it is difficult for young people to conclude deep emotional bonds,which exacerbates atomization and interpersonal isolation,the platform being an invisible structural force that promotes loneliness.In the digital age,returning to embodied communication and strengthening the publicity of platforms should become the key ways to overcome loneliness among young people.On the one hand,we should encourage the young people who live in cyberspace for a long time to get out of the online life of isolation,fight against the "compulsory deprivation" of algorithms in the embodied communication in the real society,and promote the generation of practical significance.On the other hand,it is necessary to urge the digital platform to shape and strengthen the publicity,seek a balance between the internal tension between commercial interests and public welfare,reawaken the collective participation and public dialogue consciousness of the youth group,and create a harmonious and prosperous social atmosphere in the value guidance of the platform. Where Should the Embodied Cognition Go?— Also on the Origin,Visions and Concerns of the Second-generation Cognitive Science CHEN Wei Journal of Jishou University(Social Sciences Edition)    2024, 45 (1): 73-84.   DOI: 10.13438/j.cnki.jdxb.2024.01.007 Abstract （355）      PDF（pc） （869KB）（299）       Knowledge map    Save The second-generation cognitive science,represented by embodied cognition,challenges the"physical symbol system hypothesis" and its derived computational representation.Its core view is to explain that all of our perceptual,cognitive,and motor abilities are constitutively dependent on aspects of the agent's body.Based on the above consensus,the 4E cognition has drawn a vision of the second-generation cognitive science by highlighting the role of the perceptual-motor system in the cognitive process,cognitive affordance,and the concept of embodiment based on perceptual experience.However,the spell of neuron reductionism,the reproducibility of empirical evidence,the lack of explanations and the dissolution of the predictive processing on the cognitive "sandwich model" all warn of the methodological pitfalls of the second-generation cognitive science.Due to the lack of explanation,the reliability and validity of embodied cognitive effect are often questioned.From the epistemological origin,the resolution of the cognitive "sandwich model" by predictive processing transcends the historical deadlock in the debate between the two generations of cognitive science on physical and mental issues.Many difficulties encountered by embodied cognition at present warn that there are still hidden worries in methodology in the second generation of cognitive science,and the future debate on the purpose,method,conceptual basis and motivation of embodied cognition will continue to provide new inspiration for the exchange,confrontation and blending of multi-disciplines within cognitive science. The Alleviating Effect of Medical Insurance on Relative Poverty—Based on the Four Issues of CFPS Data LI Qiong, XIA Tao Journal of Jishou University(Social Sciences Edition)    2024, 45 (1): 116-129.   DOI: 10.13438/j.cnki.jdxb.2024.01.011 Abstract （253）      PDF（pc） （974KB）（296）       Knowledge map    Save Using the data of China Family Panel Studies (CFPS) in 2012,2014,2016 and 2018,this paper makes an empirical study on the alleviating effect of medical insurance on relative poverty.The results show that medical insurance can effectively alleviate the relative poverty of residents.Under the relative poverty lines of 40%,50% and 60% of the median household income,the probability of residents falling into relative poverty by participating in medical insurance can be reduced by 3.9%,4.6% and 4.8%,respectively.The effect of medical insurance on alleviating relative poverty is heterogeneous:the eastern region is weaker than the central and western regions,the rural area is stronger than the city,and the middle-aged group is stronger than the young group.Mechanism analysis shows that residents can improve their health and increase non-medical consumption expenditure so as to reduce the risk of falling into relative poverty by participating in medical insurance,and the good education of residents can further strengthen the alleviating effect of medical insurance on relative poverty.In order to give full play to the effect of medical insurance in alleviating relative poverty of residents,we should further increase public finance to medical insurance,speed up national overall planning mechanism of medical insurance fund,and actively promote "Healthy China" strategy and the "aging-oriented" reform of the medical insurance system. Resource Dependence,Economic Growth and the Rebound Effect of Carbon Emissions YANG Yimin, WANG Zilong, DENG Xuhui Journal of Jishou University(Social Sciences Edition)    2024, 45 (1): 105-115.   DOI: 10.13438/j.cnki.jdxb.2024.01.010 Abstract （255）      PDF（pc） （774KB）（235）       Knowledge map    Save Under the background of"dual carbon" goal,this paper analyzes the mechanism of resource dependence and economic growth on the rebound of industrial carbon emissions,calculates the rebound effect value of industrial carbon emissions of 31 provinces and cities in China from 2010 to 2019 by using Kaya LMDI carbon emission driver decomposition model,and constructs spatial autoregressive model (SAR),spatial error model (SEM) and spatial Durbin model (SDM) for spatial econometric regression.The results indicate that:(1) the carbon rebound effect of energy resources consumption in China shows a law of decreasing year by year from 2010 to 2019,and has spillover effect in time and space.Seven provinces,including Shanxi,Ningxia and Inner Mongolia,are in the state of high-high (H-H) aggregation of industrial carbon emissions,while 17 provinces,including Beijing,Tianjin and Shanghai,are in the state of low-low (L-L) aggregation of industrial carbon emissions.(2) The effect of resource dependence on the rebound effect of industrial carbon emissions is significantly positive and has a certain spatial spillover effect.(3) Regional economic growth will bring the concentration of technology,capital,manpower and other factors,drive the overall development of the region,and restrain the rebound effect of industrial carbon emissions.(4) The effects of economic growth and resource dependence on the rebound of regional industrial carbon emissions have time-space lag effect and error effect,and the crowding-out effect of regional indirect influence will increase the space direct effect. Rethinking the Relationship between the Young Marx and Feuerbach's Philosophy —Centered on Critique of Hegel's Philosophy of Right SUN Jiacheng Journal of Jishou University(Social Sciences Edition)    2024, 45 (1): 40-45.   DOI: 10.13438/j.cnki.jdxb.2024.01.004 Abstract （189）      PDF（pc） （706KB）（190）       Knowledge map    Save In Critique of Hegel's Philosophy of Right,young Marx sensed the split between theory and reality in Hegel's philosophy and devoted himself to solving the "difficult problem of material interests".Influenced by the social trend caused by Feuerbach's materialism,he got inspiration from Feuerbach's criticism of idealistic religious theology,absorbed his critical angle of "reversal",and agreed with his idea of integrating natural science.The two resonated with humanism in many aspects,such as externalization,quasi-essence,"French spirit" and so on.However,young Marx transcended Feuerbach's philosophy.He attached importance to the field of history and politics,adhered to the materialistic historical view of the people's standpoint in the view of social history,promoted the organic combination of dialectics,practice and materialism in the basic concepts of philosophy,and emphasized that religious problems were rooted in social material foundation and relations of production in religious criticism.Therefore,the whole picture of young Marx's thought is not Feuerbach's philosophy,which does not constitute its only source and does not accord with its dialectical pursuit,and the understanding of Feuerbach's philosophy cannot be directly embedded in the study of young Marx's thought.Young Marx paid attention to absorbing a variety of theories and ideological traditions of the times and embarked on a road of self-conscious comprehensive innovation from the very beginning.This conclusion is in line with the classical conclusions of Marx and Engels and Lenin,and is of great significance for rethinking the ideological process of young Marx in the new era and constantly promoting the adaption of basic tenets of Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of our times. Can Short Selling Pressure Restrain the Controlling Shareholder's Equity Pledge?—Evidencefrom a Quasi-natural Experiment on Deregulation of Short Selling in China JIANG Bingwei, WANG Fayan, ZHAO Yan, ZHAO Libin Journal of Jishou University(Social Sciences Edition)    2024, 45 (4): 137-148.   DOI: 10.13438/j.cnki.jdxb.2024.04.014 Abstract （131）      PDF（pc） （839KB）（123）       Knowledge map    Save The equity pledge of the controlling shareholder of a listed company is one of the key areas of risk disposal by China's financial regulatory authorities.How to effectively restrain the controlling shareholder's irrational equity pledge is a topic worth exploring.Based on the landmark event of the implementation of margin and short selling system in China,this paper selects A-share listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchange from 2010 to 2019 as the research samples to empirically investigate whether the short selling mechanism can constrain the equity pledge of the controlling shareholders.The results show that the implementation of the short selling system can significantly inhibit the controlling shareholder's equity pledge and has high economic significance.This conclusion remains true after a series of robustness tests,such as changing key variable measures,changing sample time window,changing sample,propensity score matching,parallel trend test,and placebo test.The results of the mechanism test show that short selling pressure mainly reduces the controlling shareholder's equity pledge by improving information transparency.Finally,the heterogeneity analysis shows that the short selling pressure has a more obvious inhibiting effect on the equity pledge behavior of the controlling shareholders in the enterprise with good institutional environment,high volatility of stock price,low analyst tracking,weaknesses in internal controls and privately owned.The research conclusions enrich the research on the external governance role of short selling mechanism,but also provide evidence support for how to resolve the crisis of controlling shareholders' pledge from the source by using market-oriented means. The Coupling and Coordination Relationship between Agricultural Economic Development and Ecological Environment System—Based on the Demonstration of Green and Low-carbon Development in Hunan Province ZENG Fusheng, DENG Yinglei Journal of Jishou University(Social Sciences Edition)    2024, 45 (4): 126-136.   DOI: 10.13438/j.cnki.jdxb.2024.04.013 Abstract （147）      PDF（pc） （1306KB）（106）       Knowledge map    Save In order to explore the coupling coordination relationship between agricultural economic development and ecological environment systems in green and low-carbon development,the entropy method,coupled coordination degree model and coupled evolution model were used to measure the comprehensive evaluation index of agricultural economic development and ecological environment systems in Hunan Province,and the static and dynamic coupling relationship changes between the two under time series conditions were analyzed in detail.The results showed that:first,from 2009 to 2021,the total agricultural carbon emissions in Hunan Province showed a trend of increasing first and then decreasing,and the decline rate continued to accelerate,with significant green and low-carbon characteristics of agriculture;second,during the research period,the agricultural economic system evaluation index of Hunan Province maintained a steady upward trend,while the ecosystem index showed a trend of decreasing first and then rising,quickly shifting from "economic backwardness" to "ecological lag" stage;third,the coupling and coordination degree between agricultural economic development and ecological environment subsystems has generally accelerated,jumping from 0.279 to 0.828.The coupling and coordination stage has evolved from moderate imbalance and decline to good coordinated development;fourth,the dynamic coupling degree has shown a change trend from small to large,manifested in the development stage of coordinated coexistence to harmonious coexistence.Inspired by the research results,Hunan Province should continue to adhere to the strategy of strengthening the ecological province to guide the direction of agricultural development,promote the coordinated resonance of the agricultural economy and the ecological environment,and achieve high-level coupled and coordinated development of the two as soon as possible.
