翻译中改写的决定性因素

摘要：安德烈·勒菲维尔从社会文化角度出发，通过对大量实例进行描述性研究后发现翻译中的改写大都是由赞助人、诗学和意识形态等权力关系所引起或者说是受制于它们，权力关系因而被认为是翻译中改写现象的一个决定性因素。但忠实/对等原则才是翻译的充分必要条件，因而翻译中存在改写的首要原因是翻译内在固有的可译性限度而非外在的社会文化等权力关系。

Abstract: Adopting a social-cultural perspective,Susan Bassnett and André Lefevere discover that rewritings in translation are produced in the service of powers after they studied a large number of cases.Therefore they think powers (i.e.ideology and poetics) are the decisive factors of rewritings.However,this paper doubts this proposition.By adopting a logical and rational method,the author tries to examine whether the rewritings discussed by Lefevere are translations or non-translations through the discussion about sufficient and necessary factors to translation.Based on the discussion,the paper assumes that the inherit limitations of translatability generated by inadequacy of languages are the decisive factors of rewritings in translation instead of social-cultural powers.
