Abstract: Karl Jaspers' theory of communication holds for conditional communication and thinks that communication should be supported by three conditions, namely, subjectivity, language, and love.Subjectivity hereby refers to the fact that the agents of communication should be armed with adequate autonomy and creativity. The condition of language means that all communications are based on understandable language.Love in question finds its expressions in agents' mutual respect, mutual understanding and mutual toleration. The three conditions are interdependent, with subjectivity being the foundation of language and love and language and love being the extension of subjectivity.

Key words: conditions of communication, subjectivity, language, love
