Abstract: Way of human existence refers to human state in specific historical stage or under specific social status.It can be also expressed by humanity hypothesis,namely,natural man,rational man,economic man,and moral man,decided by humanity development.Harmonious man,as a specific way of human existence and a new humanity hypothesis in socialist harmonious society,is the criticism and transcendent to traditional humanity hypothesis.To study harmonious man from the perspective of humanity hypothesis may enrich the connotation of human studies to some extent,and may define social subject scientifically in socialist harmonious society,thus it is of theoretical significance and academic value.
