Abstract: Presently,China has stepped into a key stage of social transformation,during which structural transformation of the economy is urgent,social differential degrees are deepened,and conformity of benefits pattern is getting more and more difficult.The deep changes in economic system,social structure,cultural pattern,and value idea have greatly shocked the traditional social psychology,and China social psychology is being reconstructed difficultly.The driving forces for social psychology in transformational China mainly come from material benefits,spiritual culture,social structural transformation,and globalization,which are independent and inter-connected,proving suitable driving forces for China social psychology and guiding the way to realize it as well.The ultimate goal of social psychology is to build a social psychology with Chinese characteristics,which will bring out the best in traditional culture and modernization and meet the popular will.
