Abstract: As mainstream of traditional political thought,Confucius’s political design thought contains the possibility of modern reconstruction.On the  principles of modern reconstruction,the following principles shall be followed:the leading role of Marxism Ideology;the guideline of abandon,inheritance and transformation;the multiple ideas of reference,comprehensiveness and innovation;the attitude of openness and linking theory to practice;the principles of coordination,auxiliary and supplement.On the factors  of modern reconstruction,the dialectical promotion and transcend shall be focused:the people-orientated thought and policies;the ethics feelings and the public tenet;the authority consciousness and great unification spirit;concept of harmony and stability,and strategy of golden mean;belief of a well-off society and future of a great harmonious world.
