Abstract: "A great cause" is an important part of China's discourse,and it is also an important topic in developing Chinese systems for academia,theories,philosophy and social sciences.As a new discourse expression in contemporary China,"a great cause" is a theoretical sublimation and practical summary based on socialism with Chinese characteristics,which is of great significance to better tell China's stories,make China's voice heard,present Chinese solution and show the image of China that is credible,appealing,and respectable in the new era.Judging from the main content,in the discourse construction of "a great cause",it must be clarified that socialism with Chinese characteristics conforms to China's specific realities.Under the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China,it is socialism of comprehensive and coordinated development,adopting the Five-Sphere Integrated Plan to reach new heights in every dimension of material,political,cultural-ethical,social,and ecological advancement.Adhering to the people-centered approach,socialism with Chinese characteristics strives to meet people's aspiration for an even better life.The acceleration of China's discourse construction of "a great cause" should be rooted in the soil of Chinese society,following the basic principles of the unity of nationality and cosmopolitanism and the unity of people-centeredness and humanity.Attention should be paid to the coordinated development of political,academic and popular discourse,so as to expound on the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics with distinctive Chinese discourse.
