Abstract: Xi Jinping Thought on Culture provides theoretical guidance and fundamental compliance for developing a modern Chinese civilization and building a leading country in culture.It marks the new height of the Party's understanding of the laws governing the development of Chinese civilization and the building of a cultural sector with Chinese characteristics,as well as the Party's historical and cultural confidence.From the perspective of generation,it is a continuation and innovation of adapting the basic tenets of Marxism to China's specific realities and its fine traditional culture.From the perspective of theory,it integrates the interactive relationship between China's excellent traditional culture and Marxism,which helps develop a modern Chinese civilization with Chinese characteristics and China's independent knowledge system.From the perspective of theory,it emphasizes the fundamental,intrinsic,leading and lasting role of culture in social development and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,advocates promoting cultural confidence and cultural prosperity in the continuous innovation of China's excellent traditional culture,and makes the Marxist concept of civilization more profound cultural value heritage,richer connotation of the times and deeper spiritual connotation.It has raised a new level of cultural construction and the strategy of building a leading country in culture in terms of generation,theory and value,opened up a new realm of the Marxist concept of civilization,and will surely open up a broader space for cultural innovation and promote the liberation of thought on culture.
