Abstract: When young,Mao Zedong absorbed the rebellious spirit from the popular culture and fostered an antagonistic attitude to ward the orthodox and standard culture.As a grown-up youth, he accepted the influence of the new cultural movement and severely criticized the tradional Chinese political culture, school education and ethic morali ty,which was the central expression of Mao Zedong’s ideology of anti-standardization of culture.
