Abstract: The generation of the new school of Kungfu novels contains its necessity of times. In sharp opposition to political conflicts, the British Hong Kong Government adopted “no policy ”,which made the literary context in Hong Kong subject to certain restrictions as well as relative freedom. This requires not only a writer with a keen political consciousness, but also provides a larger space to their creative thinking.Meanwhile,a number of scholars from south filled with mind wandering in exile, expanded the imagination of a modern state and nation in their literature, showing a strong sense of tragedy.Due to huge family change,Jin Yong and Liang Yu-Shen also had a similar mentality. As positive heirs of traditional culture,in a certain “catalyst ”,they eventually created new school of Kungfu novels. But after experiencing a boom period, this school genre has gradually declined, which is worthy of our careful consideration.
