Abstract:  In order to restore traditional morality,Wu Jianren may inevitably become world-weary righteous in the Shanghai Concession.He gave the society a despairing teasing out of Moral ideal frustration and world-weary mood germination.Due to the attitude of detesting the world and description of humorous exaggeration,condemnation novels cried out the evils hidden in human nature and morality,and deviated the narrative effect from the original intention of moral education.As a result,condemnation novels tended to be more intimated and sexualized.Yet as a “double vision people” in the concession cultural context,Wu Jianren had failed to reach double vision fusion of horizons that are persuasive enough to criticize foreigners.However,boosted by national consciousness,Wu Jianren satirized the comprador of foreign slave face and name authority in system of “literati” evaluation,and demonized the comprador image identically and morally.
