Abstract: The modern democracy,based on consumers’ sovereignty,is a political stretch of the consumers’ sovereignty in market.Consumer democracy has its limitations:first,consumers often make some short-sighted choices due to their limited rationality.Second,consumers’ sovereignty democracy can hardly avoid the accusation from “the democracy of the rich”.Consumers’ democracy is regarded as a false democracy of bourgeois,but the process changed into producers’ sovereignty is not successful.Though with its limitations,consumer’s democracy coincides with the basic meaning of democracy most.
