A Study on the Governance of NIMBY Conflicts from the Perspective of Consultative Democracy

Abstract

Abstract: Presently,NIMBY conflict has become a major problem affecting the urban construction and development in China.The development of socialist consultative democracy provides basic method,value orientation and systematic platform for conflict governance.Lack of consultation is the major problem in governing NIMBY conflicts,which is shown in the aspects of consultation consciousness,consultation ability,and consultation system.Countermeasures,such as promoting consultation idea,widening consultation channels,and enriching ways of consultation,are put forward to govern NIMBY conflicts.
