Abstract: As the supreme goodness,happiness is both the purpose of political science pursuit,and the organic unity of good life and good behavior.Sense of happiness and happiness index are the operational definitions of happiness,respectively representing the subjective experience of personal life quality and the assessment index of national happiness.Between economic development and happy life there is not a simple linear relationship,but a complex and interactive relationship.So the economic development does not necessarily bring people’s happiness.To highlight the positive effects between economic development and people’s happiness,government organizations must implement the happiness new deal which organically combines GDP and GNH as the main contents.As Chinese citizens,we must learn to make full use of happiness psychological methods such as re-cognition,desire control and good use of social support.
