Abstract: During the Anti-Japanese War, the Chinese Communist Party, proceeding from China's concrete realities, developed a series of discourses on the Spanish Civil War that broke out in 1936.By analyzing and summarizing the experiences and lessons of the Spanish Civil War,the CPC significantly promoted the development of its theory regarding the War of Resistance.This is specifically manifested in the following aspects:Compared with the Spanish People's Front,which was based on a loose coalition of political parties,the CPC's theory of the national united front for the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression achieved transcendence and innovation;the Spanish people's persistent struggle against fascism and the Defense of Madrid provided important theoretical grounds for the CPC's theory of protracted war;and the Comintern's intervention in the Spanish People's Front served as a reference for the CPC to establish the principle of independence and self-reliance in light of China's specific realities.Historical practice has shown that the CPC's theory on the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression is a significant achievement in adapting Marxism to the Chinese context,served as the fundamental guide for leading the Chinese people to complete victory,and proved that the CPC truly is the mainstay of the whole nation in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.
