For Selected: Download Citations EndNote Ris BibTeX Toggle Thumbnails Select The Logical Framework and Key Breakthrough of Financial Support for Greater Self-reliance and Strength in Science and Technology SHEN Yue, YUAN Wei, CHENG Maoyong Journal of Jishou University(Social Sciences Edition)    2024, 45 (5): 40-51.   DOI: 10.13438/j.cnki.jdxb.2024.05.005 Abstract （140）      PDF（pc） （982KB）（131）       Knowledge map    Save Greater self-reliance and strength in science and technology is the key to the modernization with Chinese characteristics.Finance and science and technology are closely related,and financial support is indispensable to achieving high-level scientific and technological self-reliance.To this end,key financial support should be given to scientific and technological innovation enterprises,scientific research institutes and colleges and universities,government departments at all levels and central banks being the administrative entities and financial institutions and capital markets being the market entities.Through the two-way role of administrative mechanisms and market mechanisms,full play is given to the financing function,risk management function and information disclosure function to achieve four major goals.Due to the natural opposition between the high risks of greater self-reliance and strength in science and technology and the operating principles of commercial banks,as well as the imperfect development of capital market and high financing threshold,some technology companies have been crowded out of market;the underdevelopment of science and technology insurance has caused insufficient supply and demand in the insurance market;and the shortage in science and technology guarantee system has restricted financial support for greater self-reliance in science and technology.Considering this,we should break through key problems and improve the quality and efficiency of financial support for high-level scientific and technological self-reliance through diversified financial product innovation and institutional innovation.We should improve top-level design,give full play to the promoting role of the government and financial regulatory authorities,and explore new models of financial support for high-level scientific and technological self-reliance.We should establish and improve risk protection mechanisms,and speed up efforts to achieve greater self-reliance and strength in science and technology. Reference | Related Articles | Metrics | Comments（0） Select The Coupling and Coordination Relationship between Agricultural Economic Development and Ecological Environment System—Based on the Demonstration of Green and Low-carbon Development in Hunan Province ZENG Fusheng, DENG Yinglei Journal of Jishou University(Social Sciences Edition)    2024, 45 (4): 126-136.   DOI: 10.13438/j.cnki.jdxb.2024.04.013 Abstract （161）      PDF（pc） （1306KB）（110）       Knowledge map    Save In order to explore the coupling coordination relationship between agricultural economic development and ecological environment systems in green and low-carbon development,the entropy method,coupled coordination degree model and coupled evolution model were used to measure the comprehensive evaluation index of agricultural economic development and ecological environment systems in Hunan Province,and the static and dynamic coupling relationship changes between the two under time series conditions were analyzed in detail.The results showed that:first,from 2009 to 2021,the total agricultural carbon emissions in Hunan Province showed a trend of increasing first and then decreasing,and the decline rate continued to accelerate,with significant green and low-carbon characteristics of agriculture;second,during the research period,the agricultural economic system evaluation index of Hunan Province maintained a steady upward trend,while the ecosystem index showed a trend of decreasing first and then rising,quickly shifting from "economic backwardness" to "ecological lag" stage;third,the coupling and coordination degree between agricultural economic development and ecological environment subsystems has generally accelerated,jumping from 0.279 to 0.828.The coupling and coordination stage has evolved from moderate imbalance and decline to good coordinated development;fourth,the dynamic coupling degree has shown a change trend from small to large,manifested in the development stage of coordinated coexistence to harmonious coexistence.Inspired by the research results,Hunan Province should continue to adhere to the strategy of strengthening the ecological province to guide the direction of agricultural development,promote the coordinated resonance of the agricultural economy and the ecological environment,and achieve high-level coupled and coordinated development of the two as soon as possible. Reference | Related Articles | Metrics | Comments（0） Select Can Short Selling Pressure Restrain the Controlling Shareholder's Equity Pledge?—Evidencefrom a Quasi-natural Experiment on Deregulation of Short Selling in China JIANG Bingwei, WANG Fayan, ZHAO Yan, ZHAO Libin Journal of Jishou University(Social Sciences Edition)    2024, 45 (4): 137-148.   DOI: 10.13438/j.cnki.jdxb.2024.04.014 Abstract （137）      PDF（pc） （839KB）（129）       Knowledge map    Save The equity pledge of the controlling shareholder of a listed company is one of the key areas of risk disposal by China's financial regulatory authorities.How to effectively restrain the controlling shareholder's irrational equity pledge is a topic worth exploring.Based on the landmark event of the implementation of margin and short selling system in China,this paper selects A-share listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchange from 2010 to 2019 as the research samples to empirically investigate whether the short selling mechanism can constrain the equity pledge of the controlling shareholders.The results show that the implementation of the short selling system can significantly inhibit the controlling shareholder's equity pledge and has high economic significance.This conclusion remains true after a series of robustness tests,such as changing key variable measures,changing sample time window,changing sample,propensity score matching,parallel trend test,and placebo test.The results of the mechanism test show that short selling pressure mainly reduces the controlling shareholder's equity pledge by improving information transparency.Finally,the heterogeneity analysis shows that the short selling pressure has a more obvious inhibiting effect on the equity pledge behavior of the controlling shareholders in the enterprise with good institutional environment,high volatility of stock price,low analyst tracking,weaknesses in internal controls and privately owned.The research conclusions enrich the research on the external governance role of short selling mechanism,but also provide evidence support for how to resolve the crisis of controlling shareholders' pledge from the source by using market-oriented means. Reference | Related Articles | Metrics | Comments（0） Select Will the Re-designation of Counties (Cities of County-level) as City Districts Lead to Industrial Isomorphism? —An Empirical Study Based on the Data from Hangzhou,Ningbo,Nanjing and Suzhou WU Jinqun, MAO Jianan Journal of Jishou University(Social Sciences Edition)    2023, 44 (6): 46-60.   DOI: 10.13438/j.cnki.jdxb.2023.06.004 Abstract （229）      PDF（pc） （1802KB）（155）       Knowledge map    Save Administrative division and industrial structure are important factors affecting the sustainable development of cities.As changes in industrial structure are influenced by multiple factors,including the political and economic ones,there-designation of counties (cities of county-level) as city districts may lead to industrial isomorphism,or deepen the industrial division in the administrative districts.This paper,selecting Hangzhou,Ningbo,Nanjing,and Suzhou as the research object,using the panel data of their districts (counties and cities of county-level) from 1999 to 2019,and adopting the difference-in-differences (DID) method,explores the impact of the re-designation of counties (cities of county-level) as city districts on industrial structure and its mechanism.The results show that it has no significant effect on the industrial isomorphism in both tertiary industry and sub-industries,and according to the test results of time effect,there is a lag period of 8 years on industrial isomorphism.This effect is heterogeneous,and the significant positive effect on industrial isomorphism is found only in Hangzhou.Upon close examination of the cases,the heterogeneity analysis aligns with the industrial layout of the cities.Mechanism analysis suggests that government actions and market mechanisms jointly affect the degree of industrial isomorphism.If the municipal government focuses on the development of secondary industry and industrial transfer occurs,the industrial structure of the main urban area and the newly established districts will tend to move towards industrial division,and if the municipal government focuses on the development of tertiary industry and industrial diffusion occurs,it will tend to move towards industrial isomorphism.This research enriches the empirical evidence concerning the relationship between administrative divisions and industrial structures,hoping to provide fresh perspectives and practical insights for the re-designation of counties (cities of county-level) as city districts,as well as new theoretical perceptions and policy options for urban industrial layouts. Reference | Related Articles | Metrics | Comments（0） Select Can Green Development Policies Promote a Significant Increase in Employment?—Empirical Analysis Based on Panel Data of 284 Cities in China HE Xionglang, SHI Shijiao Journal of Jishou University(Social Sciences Edition)    2023, 44 (3): 34-46.   DOI: 10.13438/j.cnki.jdxb.2023.03.004 Abstract （481）      PDF（pc） （1061KB）（243）       Knowledge map    Save Based on the data of 284 prefecture-level cities in China from 2003 to 2018，this paper empirically examines the impact and the mechanism of green development policy on employment by using the difference-in-difference model and the mediation effect model.The results demonstrate that:compared with non-pilot cities,the construction of low-carbon pilot cities is more conductive to full employment,and after further consideration of endogeneity issues and replacing the dependent variable,the contribution to employment made by low carbon city pilot policy remains robust;after controlling the time effect,the promoting effect that green development policy acts on employment is not time-delayed but persistent.Heterogeneity exists in the impact of green development policy on employment.Compared with western and eastern regions,green development policy has a greater role in promoting employment in cities in the central region;and compared with resource-based cities,green development policy has a more significant role in promoting employment in non-resource-based cities.The results of the mechanism test show that green development policy can induce technical innovation,and thus produces "expansion effect" of employment by promoting the level of innovation.This study analyses the effects of green development policies on urban employment from the perspective of low-carbon city pilot,providing an important reference for further promotion of low-carbon city pilot and the reconciliation of environmental protection and economic development. Reference | Related Articles | Metrics | Comments（0） Select Research on the Effects of Digital Economy to Enable Industry Co-agglomeration QIAO Bin, DAI Peixin Journal of Jishou University(Social Sciences Edition)    2023, 44 (1): 65-77.   DOI: 10.13438/j.cnki.jdxb.2023.01.008 Abstract （786）      PDF（pc） （875KB）（325）       Knowledge map    Save The emergence of platform economy has fundamentally changed the formation and evolution of industrial clusters,forming a borderless virtual co-agglomeration relying on community-based and modular production,and the industrial division of labor is completely different from that in the era of industrial economy.Based on this,using the new economic geography model which integrates the Internet department and big data elements,this paper deduces the influence mechanism of digital economy enabling industrial co-agglomeration,and the mechanism of digital economy influencing specialization and then enabling industrial co-agglomeration by magnifying regional comparative advantage.Taking 30 provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities in China from 2008 to 2019 as research samples,the generalized spatial panel autoregressive two-stage least square method and intermediary effect model are used to empirically test the path and mechanism of industrial co-agglomeration in digital economy.It is found that:(1) Industrial co-agglomeration has positive spatial spillover effect,and digital economy significantly promotes industrial co-agglomeration.At the same time,specialization and division of labor is the main transmission way for the co-accumulation of empowering industries in digital economy.(2) The digital economy in the eastern region plays an important role in the coordinated development of industries and the development of regional integration,and the digital economy plays a stronger role in promoting the spatial co-accumulation of secondary and tertiary industries,which is more conducive to the development of integration.This paper enriches the relevant research on digital economy and industrial co-accumulation,and provides ideas for digital economy to promote regional coordinated development. Our studies show that：With the increase of trade freeness, the capital discount rate and the expenditureshare on industrial goods, the decrease of substitution elasticity and the capital depreciation rate, the stability of symmetrical structure will be weakened in a way that strengthen the stability of center-periphery structure；The geographical structure of an economy is shaped by the tension between centripetal forces and centrifugal force.If the economies of scale is prominent enough, or the expenditure share on industrial goods is high enough, the market crowding effect will be transformed into an agglomeration force；Different relationships between break point and sustain point indicate that the variations of trade freeness can diversify the dynamic process of industrial spatial evolution in our CC model. Reference | Related Articles | Metrics | Comments（0） Select The Spatial Distribution and Influencing Factors of the Leading Enterprises in China's Agricultural Industrialization JIANG Hui, LIU Zhaoyang Journal of Jishou University(Social Sciences Edition)    2020, 41 (6): 94-101.   DOI: 10.13438/j.cnki.jdxb.2020.06.011 Abstract （1081）      PDF（pc） （603KB）（410）       Knowledge map    Save The spatial distribution and agglomeration degree of the leading enterprises in agricultural industrialization are important indicators of a country's process of agricultural modernization.This paper,by using nuclear density and local hot spot analysis method,explores the spatial distribution of the leading agricultural enterprises in China,and analyzes the factors affecting the spatial agglomeration of agricultural leading enterprises with the help of multiple linear regression.It is found that the leading enterprises of China's agricultural industry are mainly distributed in the developed cities in eastern China and they form the hot spots in the eastern regions,and tend to spread around these cities and form regional agglomeration,while the western regions are relatively cold spots.The main factors affecting the development of agricultural leading enterprises include the total power of agricultural machinery,highway and railway mileages,and judicial civilization and marketization indexes.The increase of crop sown area and the fixed asset investment in agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery are negatively related to the growth of leading enterprises in China's agricultural industrialization.The research results show the spatial distribution and the changing rules of China's leading enterprises in agricultural industrialization,and reveal the reasons for the regional differential development from the level of national policies,providing development direction and suggestions for perfecting the agricultural industrial policy system and promoting the process and spatial distribution of China's agricultural industrialization.
