    A Bride from Huayao Shangri La and Looking for Liu Sanjie the Singing Fairy,the two recent films concerning ethnic people,have attracted great attention in the film circle.The two films,due to their distinct cultural representation and characteristics of times,have provided the possibility to critically reflect the relationship between ethnic culture and film.In detail,the films have strategically made the audience imagine the ethnic life with their visual consumption,and with the connecting of various cultural memories,the audience have realized the excavating,finding and reproducing of traditional ethnic culture.The tentative construction of regional ethnic aesthetics has strengthened cultural ascription of the ethnic people,and provided a new thought to deal with the crisis of ethnic cultural identity.

    The folk songs of Miao people in La’ershan,Xiangxi is one of the indispensable art forms for those living on tablelands.The study on the protection and inheritance of folk music from the perspective of folklore is the modernity transformation of comprehensive art mode and understanding paradigm of combining Miao people’s traditional music with musical anthropology of related disciplines and research fields.The author thinks that the “living protection” principle for traditional music is to put folk music in specific culture of protection and inheritance,and to integrate multi-cultures of plural nationalities by making use of the characteristics of regional differences.The paper presents a study of the local Miao people’s folk songs to help us understand the living characteristics of the protection and inheritance of traditional art form of music culture better,and to provide us with effective measures.

    Wu Dayu,known as the “representative of China color”,and the “banner of Hangzhou Art College”,is said to be an pioneer in Chinese painting for his perseverance to the New Painting School and great achievements in the 1920s.Regretfully,he is long unnoticed,which is called as “Wu Dayu Phenomenon” by the famous painter Wu Guanzhong.His ups and downs in artistic creation reflect the difficult development of oil painting in China.His fate partly is due to his own personality;more importantly,it is the outer objective factors that have decided his fate.

    As core concept of the heritage,integrity of folk art would be the standard measurement of the value and the rule of heritage protection.Integrity is not equal with entirety,and could not reveal all contents and forms entity,but instead just presents partial features of entirety.Also,it is not entity,but just a constructed active trend for describing objective facts,which could reflect mutability of incorporeal cultural heritage.Therefore,integrity can only embody the structural features of entirety.The construction of entirety of folk art exists in the research and demonstration of integrity.

    Drum-and-dance of the Miao Nationality in Xiangxi,as an excellent dance form and a traditional sports event as well,has a rich cultural connotation and multiple values.Luckily,the succession of this art has been undergoing a change from the simple way of master-apprentice,family-family to the complex way of school education,society succession,folk dance succession and village custom succession,showing a prosperous situation.However,the succession of the Miao drum-and-dance is also encountering an unprecedented challenge.

    From the history of art ideology it can be seen that music has either positive or negative effect on morality.The philosophy on the relationship between art and morality includes radical morality theory,radical self-discipline theory,mild self-discipline theory,and mild morality theory;the philosophy on the relationship between music and morality includes referential theory,formalism,and absolute expression theory.A conclusion is drawn that the positive effect of music to morality is conditional.

    Costume is not only a carrier of ritual action in Chinese realm,but also an important presentation of ritual system according to traditional concept.Emperor costume in the Qing Dynasty (1644—1911) is the most complicated in Chinese costume history.This paper,based on historical records,illustrates the forms of emperor costume and the formation of its system in the Qing Dynasty,holding that it not only reflects the economic development of that time,but also represents a new kind of art.

    Based on a series of field investigations,this paper,with reference to relevant literature,analyzes the reasons for the declination of love songs of Miao nationality in Xiangxi (the western part of Hunan Province).The various reasons presented,inevitably linked with each other,indicate a gradual process of declination.However,there also exist new opportunities for the development of Miao love songs.Hence,considerations are made on the protection and development of the music culture of Miao nationality.

    This article tries to analyse the expression power of modal particles in Xiangxi folk songs.The article points out that modal particles in Xiangxi folk songs are not merely a symbol of sound,but more important,a symbol of emotion,that different modal particles convey different message of emotion,that modal particles in music may produce colour contrast and enhance the stereoscopic effect of music,and that the concert of modal particles and music rhythm may make a song more vivid and more lifelike.

    The internal relations of the artistic characteristics cons t i tute the fundamental feature of music. Musicis, first and foremost, a kind of sound existence. This is the leading character of music, around which other musicaltrai ts derive. As an existence of sound, music is spread in the stream of time, in which lies the character of timeliness. But owing to the unidirectivity of time flowage, music must be replayed in want of reappreciation. In addition,the sound of music is non-semantic, which results in the variation of feeling in the course of music appreciation. Andmusic is made certain in virtue of non-sounds certainty.

    An Introduction to the Philosophy of Artistic Thinking

    Starting from the two old topics “artistic thinking” and “image thinking”, this article tries to reveal the connotation of artistic thinking which is much extensive than that of image thinking. And on this basis, the article puts forward some tentative ideas for setting up a philosophy of artistic thinking. The article expounds on the acquisition of the nature of matter from five levels: direct perceiving sense, abs tract logic, emotional will, priori cognition and cultural signs, and describes the process of this acquisition. Finally, the article concludes that the nature of artistic thinking is personified thinking.
