A Bride from
Huayao Shangri La
and
Looking for Liu Sanjie the Singing Fairy
,the two recent films concerning ethnic people, have attracted great attention in the film circle. The two films, due to their distinct cultural representation and characteristics of times, have provided the possibility to critically reflect the relationship between ethnic culture and film.In detail, the films have strategically made the audience imagine the ethnic life with their visual consumption, and with the connecting of various cultural memories, the audience have realized the excavating, finding and reproducing of traditional ethnic culture. The tentative construction of regional ethnic aesthetics has strengthened cultural ascription of the ethnic people, and provided a new thought to deal with the crisis of ethnic cultural identity.

As core concept of the heritage, integrity of folk art would be the standard measurement of the value and the rule of heritage protection.Integrity is not equal with entirety, and could not reveal all contents and forms entity, but instead just presents partial features of entirety. Also,it is not entity, but just a constructed active trend for describing objective facts, which could reflect mutability of incorporeal cultural heritage. Therefore, integrity can only embody the structural features of entirety. The construction of entirety of folk art exists in the research and demonstration of integrity.

The internal relations of the artistic characteristics cons t i tute the fundamental feature of music. Musicis, first and foremost, a kind of sound existence. This is the leading character of music, around which other musicaltrai ts derive. As an existence of sound, music is spread in the stream of time, in which lies the character of timeliness. But owing to the unidirectivity of time flowage, music must be replayed in want of reappreciation. In addition, the sound of music is non-semantic, which results in the variation of feeling in the course of music appreciation. Andmusic is made certain in virtue of non-sounds certainty.
