Abstract: To effectively promote common prosperity in the intellectual and cultural life of the people,it is imperative to harness the distinctive advantages of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics.This requires the establishment and refinement of a comprehensive institutional framework that fosters common prosperity in the intellectual and cultural life of the people.Such an institution will play a pivotal role in building societal consensus and mobilizing collective strength to advance common prosperity in this sphere.A systematic,well-structured,and highly coordinated institutional system for promoting common prosperity in intellectual and cultural life will not only underscore the superiority of the socialist system but also better address the people's aspirations for a higher quality of life.Furthermore,it will provide robust and sustainable intellectual and cultural support for Chinese-style modernization while ensuring that the promotion of all-round human development remains integral to national governance.The construction of an institutional system aimed at fostering common prosperity in intellectual and cultural life should be guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Culture and underpinned by the leadership of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics.It must adhere to the intrinsic alignment of goal orientation and problem orientation in achieving intellectual and cultural prosperity,to the balanced consideration of efficiency in the production of intellectual and cultural goods and fairness in their distribution,to the promotion of high-quality intellectual and cultural production and equitable distribution through the basic economic system,to the enrichment of high-quality intellectual and cultural resources with Chinese characteristics via the deepening of cultural system reform,to the facilitation of joint construction,co-governance,and shared benefits of intellectual and cultural development outcomes through modern governance systems,and to the cultivation of individuals who are free and fully developed through modern education systems.By progressively transforming institutional strengths into governance effectiveness,this institution will ensure sustained progress toward common prosperity in the intellectual and cultural sphere of society.
