How to Seek Ideal Polity?—— On the Methodology and Modern Value of Aristotle’s Politics

Abstract: The methodology in Aristotle’s Politics is a valuable ideological resource for human beings.It mainly concerns the choice and maintenance of polity.In Aristotle’s thinking path,systematic and scientific method is the first,and polity is regarded as a system,the starting point of polity analysis.Secondly,by realistic observation and logic deduction,Aristotle tries to seek a stable polity in reality.Finally,by sticking to value method,he explores into an ideal polity following the ultimate principle of maximum kindness.Aristotle’s methodology on polity still has a high value for modern politics.
