Abstract: The sense of community for the Chinese nation is a major proposition put forward by the CPC Central Committee with General Secretary Xi Jinping as the core,which is based on the summary of positive and negative historical experience and the study of the current domestic and foreign situation.As the basis of national unity and foundation of ethnic harmony,and the soul of spiritual strength in the new era,it has a far-reaching impact on the realization of the modernization of national governance system and governance capacity.From the perspective of jurisprudence and politics,the theoretical basis of the sense of community for the Chinese nation includes the concept of "great unity" in ancient China,the classical exposition of classic Marxist writers on "nation" and the concepts of "Chinese nation" and "community" explained by modern scholars.In the process of casting the sense of community for the Chinese nation,it is necessary to correctly understand and handle three dialectical relations,that is the relationship between the sense of community for the Chinese nation and the leadership by the Communist Party of China,the relationship between it and the two-way interaction in comprehensively promoting the rule of law,and the relationship between it and the implementation of the "unitary system" national structure.The sense of community for the Chinese nation can be realized in two ways:one is the joint construction of the ideological community,the institutional community and the cultural community,and the other is the gradual promotion of the Chinese community,the community with a shared future for mankind,and the community of man and nature.
