Abstract: According to Hegel, the private ownership is realized by possession, use, and transference.Material possession determines private ownership, while material possession is for use. However,it is not a real possession if the material is only for use instead of transference. The really possessed material is the one that can be transferred.Hegel’s thoughts on man’s possession of himself,on the separation of ownership and access, and on man’s ownership of non-transferred belongs, are still of great value in modern society.
