Abstract: We are in a historical period of reflecting and surpassing modern industrial civilization and moving toward ecological civilization,which should be the value reference and theoretical foundation for new socialist rural construction.In such a construction,we should respect our cultural tradition,create ecological civilization,rid the negative differences,maintain and develop the positive differences,enhance the peasants’ cultural consciousness,develop eco-economy,gradually upgrade the position of rural culture,improve the living standard of the peasants,and construct a harmonious society.We should choose a mode of assimilating differences different from the past mode which did not take reality into practice.
