摘要：西尔维亚·普拉斯是西方女性主义运动的英雄和殉道者。她的死亡诗杰作大都收入其自杀后出版的诗集《阿丽尔》中。《阿丽尔》体现出了一种压倒一切逃离现实世界进入纯粹死亡的强烈冲动，这一冲动归根结底是虚无主义的。

Abstract: Sylvia Plath has become a heroine and martyr of the feminist movement. In fact, she was first of all a martyr to the recurrent psychodrama that staged itself in the theatre of her tragically wounded psyche and personality. Ariel, which contains her best poems on death, defines a nihilistic metaphysic from which death provided the only true escape.
