Abstract: Building a "better life" in the new era is not only the good wish of the people,but also the subject of the times for the Chinese Communists to govern the country.In the context of globalization dominated by capital logic,how is a "better life" possible? This is the primary theoretical problem that needs to be solved.If we put this theoretical issue into the context of capital logic for academic examination,it is not difficult to find that there is a profound internal relationship between "better life" and capital logic.The crisis of modern social life caused by the global expansion of capital logic is the historical premise of the proposition of "better life";the life dimension of the self-sublation of capital logic provides realistic basis and dynamic support for "better life";and controlling the life return of capital logic is the way to realize "better life" in the new era.The analysis of the coupling relationship between "better life" and capital logic is helpful to clarify the dialectical tension between them,so it may lay a solid theoretical foundation for the construction of "better life" in the new era.
