Abstract: The study of western Marxist academic history shouldfocus on the theoretical effect of western Marxism,objectively grasping the internal logic of western Marxist history and theoretical development.It is the premise and foundation to objectively grasp the logic of western Marxism theory to change the research method of non-historicism and to break away from the value standpoint of Chinese Marxist philosophy theory and Chinese modernization practice.It is the key to our objective understanding of the logic of Western Marxist theory to reveal the relationship between Western Marxist theory and its social and historical conditions,cultural tradition,philosophy and social movement.It is of great value and significance to strengthen the research on the academic history of Western Marxism in order to promote the construction of Marxist theory in China and to solve the problems of modernity in the practice of Chinese modernization.
