Analysis on the Import Contribution to Economic Growth

Abstract

Abstract: Different from export that exerts function from demand side,import promotes economic growth from supply side,providing domestic production with energy and raw material and upgrading industrial structure.Since 1997,the import contribution to economic growth has been rising,and its contribution to industry is significantly higher than that to agriculture and services.Most industries have benefited from import,especially the machinery manufacturing and so on.
