Abstract: As one of the most important characteristics of a non-mainstream youth culture in contemporary China,KUSO has become a way for young people to express themselves.On one hand,it focuses on ritual resistance and self-expression enhancement,keeping distance with the commercial culture and the mainstream ideology.On the other hand,it actively keeps close relationship with the commercial culture and the mainstream ideology.What course should KUSO follow? From the perspective of postmodern cultural theory,this paper discusses the special discourse environment of KUSO and its cultural path.
