Abstract: The folk beliefs of Dong nationality play an important role in keeping social order,protecting orderly operation of social system,adjusting the psychological balance,strengthening cultural heritage,and promoting the exchanges among the Dong nationality.It is one of the traditional resources for the construction of harmonious Dong area,and the governments at various levels in the Dong area shall carry out guidance and reasonable intervention so as to make full use of its constructive function and avoid its weakness.
