American Land-Grant College and its Enlightenment on Higher Vocational Education in China

Abstract: American Land-grant College plays a very important part in the history of American education,especially in the training of technological talents,which has laid a solid foundation for American pragmatic educational principles.Today,although the training of technological talents in China has attracted a wide attention,compared to the growing levels in the developed countries,there is still a long distance in terms of management system,course design,teacher resources,and funding mechanism,etc.Therefore,based on the current situation of our higher vocational education,it is quite necessary to explore some effective strategies from the Land-grant Colleges experiences,which is also a demand for constructing the system of technological talents in China.
