Abstract: The general characteristics of socialism ideology under the modern circumstances are seen in globalization,the transition of socialist market economy and Chinese society,the low tide of world socialist movement,and the expansion of net transmission based on information technology.This severely challenges the construction of modern socialism ideology.So we must response the challenge actively by strengthening socialism ideological construction and improve its persuasive power,battle effectiveness,and competitive force.
