Chen Yinke and Lanke’s View of History

Abstract: While studying in Japan,US and Germany,Chen Yinke was deeply influenced by Lanke’s view of history.Chen’s view of history has many similarities with that of Lanke’s:emphasizing possessing as many materials as possible and examining them carefully;keeping humanism and objective views and paying attention to treat history with national cultural concept.After he returned to China,Chen pursued “Seminer” method in university teaching.
