Lord of the Flies:A Freudian Reading

Abstract: As a representative work of English contemporary writer William Golding,Lord of the Flies is viewed as a modern fable and invites many interpretations.Freudian theory is employed to analyze the three main characters corresponding to the id,the ego and the superego.The theme of evil humanity is discussed.
