A Probe into Differences Between Post-noun Positioned -ing Participle and Post-noun Positioned Adjective Clause

Abstract: This paper gives an exposition on the differences between the post-noun positioned -ing participle and the post-noun positioned adjective clause from the angles of linguistic cognition and linguistic application,pointing out that since the two structures are different in form,their usages and meanings are often different from one another.Therefore,one can never confuse the two structures and substitute one with another at will.
