Stages of History:Philosophy of History and Marx

Abstract: Stages of History is an important part in the theories of History.In  the Philosophy of History Before Marxism,there are many kinds of theories about Stages of History,which compartmentalized the process of history by idealistic or political criteria.They often developed an abstract mode of stages before applying it to the substantial history.While Marx's theory of stages insisted on economic criterion based on materialistic views of history.Marx's ‘Theory of  Three Social Forms' and ‘Theory of Five Social Forms' compensate each other as mature Stages,with a dialectic explanation of the relationship between unity and diversity in history.
