On the Rediscovery of Radical Choice and Moral Theory——Zhai Zhenming’s Phenomenological Reply to Apel’s Paradox

Abstract

Abstract: German philosopher Apel put forward a paradox.From a language game of presupposed transcendental communication community,Apel created a rational communicative argumentation.Taking the same background of the transcendental communication community,Prof.Zhai Zhenming,by employing Husserl’s phenomenological theory of transcendental structure,and from the radical choice of all the members in the communicative community,found that human beings,with humanitude,posses phenomenological subjective value.More importantly,Prof.Zhai revealed the value dimension in Husserl’s phenomenology.It is based on this value rational shown in radical choice that Prof.Zhai gave a phenomenological reply to Apel’s paradox.
