Abstract: The hybridity of post-war Okinawa culture is not simply an addition of the American culture and Japanese culture on the basis of local culture, but rather a cultural reorganization in the conflicts of multiple cultures, thus forming a new hybrid culture.Meanwhile, during this process the Okinawan nation also experienced the growth and transformation from "confusion" to "expression",and then to "awakening" on the stage of history. The hybridity of post-war Okinawa culture in literature is not only the reproduction of Okinawa's growth and transformation, but the self-identification and ethnic- identification of the Okinawan writers in historical changes.
Key words: hybridity, Okinawan culture, Okinawan literature, identification
