Abstract: Political conformity inChina can find its historical source,therefore it is necessary to explore it in traditional society.It is found that traditional conformity,including that of economy,organization,culture,ideology,legal system,and administration,has realized considerable order.However,this solid,control-type of political order has run into modern dilemma in the late period.The deep reason is that the  political conformity in traditional China is of authoritarian nature and stability –oriented,rather than of basic integration and development–oriented,so the dynasty and the society could not achieve substantial integration.That’s why China could not enter the modern world.
