Abstract: Strengthening the construction of ideological and political theory courses in schools in the new era is of great significance for cultivating socialist builders and successors and realizing the Two Centenary Goals (to complete building a moderately prosperous society in all respects by the Communist Party of China's centenary in 2021,and to turn China into a great modern socialist country that is prosperous,strong,democratic,culturally advanced,harmonious and beautiful by the time of the centenary of the People's Republic of China in 2049 ) and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.In the new era,the construction of ideological and political theory courses in schools should be planned as a whole;the organic connection and integration of the teaching material system and teaching contents of universities,primary and secondary schools should be realized;and the teachers of ideological and political theory should take a firm political standpoint with a solid theoretical foundation,and strengthen one's own moral cultivation.
