“后学”与新启蒙主义的话语对抗

The Discourse Controversy between “Postism” and Neo-enlightenmentism

摘要:20世纪90年代以来,“后学”成为了中国新保守主义的一种话语资源。一些学者使用“后学”的话语理论,提出“中华性”的建设方案,对新启蒙主义的现代性立场进行解构,以本土文化的重建来应对全球化的挑战。“后学”的新保守主义文化姿态以及自身存在的悖论,引发了新启蒙主义者的强烈不满,导致了“后学”与新启蒙主义的话语对抗。“后学”与新启蒙主义是新时期知识分子面对现代化、西化与民族化的错综问题,所做出的两种重要的回应姿态。在全球化的时代,如何建立中华的文化形象,有效推进现代化的文化进程,以化解内外的文化、精神困境,是“后学”批评家和新启蒙主义者必须共同谋划的问题。

Abstract: Since the 1990s,“postism” has become the discourse resource for Chinese neo-conservatism.Some scholars brought forward a proposal with Chinese characteristics,analyzed the modernity standpoint of neo-enlightenmentism,and answered the global challenge by reconstructing local culture.The conservative cultural connotation of postism and its deficiency caused great discontentment from the neo-enlightenment scholars,and this led to the discourse controversy between postism and neo-enlightenmentism.Postism and neo-enlightenmentism are two important answers of the intellectuals in the new era when they are faced with the complicated questions of modernization,westernization,and nationalization.During the age of globalization,it is a question for both the postism critics and the new-enlightenment scholars to establish the image of Chinese culture,to effectively speed up the process of cultural modernization,and to overcome the dilemma between culture and spirit.
