Abstract: Academic management is the management with academic affairs as its object and content.Due to the excess aggrandizement of administrative power and the protruding of administrative property,there appears an administrative tendency of academic management in colleges and universities.To change this tendency,four measures should be taken,i.e.to reduce administrative power in decision-making,to establish an academic committee,to establish and improve the systems of specialty and discipline committee,and to make full use of the teachers in academic management.
