摘要： 图书馆员职业读书，对提高图书馆服务水平具有重要的现实意义。读书是图书馆员的职业需要，是提高图书馆价值服务的需要，更是提高自身素质的需要。因此，图书馆员除了要读专业书外，还要读经典名著，读某一学科的书；要养成良好的读书习惯，要用“心”读书，把读书贯穿在服务中。

Abstract: Reading is of great significance for the librarians to improve their service. It is their occupation requirement,and is necessary for them to improve library service and the accomplishment of their own. Besides the academic books of their major,the librarians should read classical books and books of a certain discipline so as to serve the readers better.
