Abstract: The challenging power of training undergraduates majoring in journalism in a minority nationality area can only be promoted by:starting from the reality of running the major,according to our own strong points and developing tendency,training students suitable for the society;constant refreshing our ideas in education;quickening the pace of establishment of regulation and courses;strengthening teachers training;combining theory with practice so as to lay solid foundation in basic specialty education,with multi-developing directions and our own characteristics.
