摘要：立足于中国高等教育大众化发展的现实，理性地指出了当前大学教育中存在的权力行政化、利益集团化和学术腐败等问题，并以此为基础阐述并充分肯定了亚伯拉罕·弗莱克斯纳关于现代大学应当坚持实践的“保存知识和观念、解释知识和观念、追求真理、训练学生以‘继承事业’的办学原则；客观地分析了弗莱克斯纳对近代以来美国大学市场化趋向的批评及其大学理念的不足之处；阐明了弗莱克斯纳现代大学理论的当代启示：大学的价值在于培养创新人才、进行学术批判和为国民创造精神财富。

Abstract: This paper,based on the reality of the popularization of higher education in China,points out such problems as administrative power,group benefit,and academic corruption in universities.It illustrates and confirms Abraham Flexnet’s educational principles that a modern university should stick to “ storing knowledge and concept,explaining knowledge and concept,seeking truth,and training the students so as to succeed the cause”,analyzes Flexnet’s criticism on the market-oriented tendency of American universities and the demerits of his university ides,and reveals the enlightenment of Flexnet’s university idea:the value of a university lies in cultivating creative talents,academic criticism,and producing spiritual wealth for the nation.
