摘要：要从区域历史同质性、整体性历史要素和多学科的角度研究近代湘西区域开发史；充分认识这项研究的理论与实践意义；阐述近代湘西开发引发的社会变迁；研究中要重视文献与田野相结合的历史人类学方法的运用。

Abstract: Fully realizing the theoretical and practical significance,research on the regional development history in Xiangxi should start from a multi-disciplinary perspective,taking into consideration the homogeneity and integrity of regional history.Attention should be attached to the social changes caused by the development in Xiangxi,and in the research,the method of literature research and field investigation in historical anthropology should be applied.
