Abstract: From the perspective of the existence of subject,object and the relationship between them,the common value is an objective and real existence,which has its philosophical basis,though it is different from the value consensus.From the perspective of the generative theory,the process of economic globalization is the profound realistic basis for the formation of human common value while the common interests of all human beings are the main conditions and solid foundations for its formation.The symbiotic culture is the cultural source for the formation of common values.Having its distinct spiritual qualities,being open,inclusive,co-constructive,sharing,and win-win,the common value is not only objective,really tangible and accessible but also historical,relative,dynamic,and developing.The study of common value has great theoretical and practical significance and should be highly valued.
